6 Step Fertilizing Program

Lawn Seasons, Inc. and its fertilizing subsidiary Jeff Schmidt, Inc. want the best possible results for your lawn. Our program is designed with the proper nutrients and undesirable grass controls to ensure you have a beautiful and healthy lawn.

We only use professional granular turf fertilizer products which are approved by the Environmental Protection Agency and are considered to be the safest and most effective chemicals. Our fertilizer contains a nitrogen source of Poly Plus Sulfur Coated Urea which provides slow and even growth naturally, day after day, while preventing and controlling weeds. The granular fertilizers we use will keep your lawn green up to 4 times longer than quick release fertilizers.

Our fertilizing steps are:

• March - Complete balanced fertilization. Promotes green-up and recovery from winter stresses. Pre-emergent crabgrass control applied plus Dimension weed control.
• Spring - Broadleaf weed and annual grass control and second application of crabgrass pre-emergent. Nutrients are applied to improve your lawn's color and density.
• Late Spring - Momentum selective herbicide application to control pre-existing weeds and annual grasses.
• Early Summer - Fertilizer to prepare your lawn for the summer ahead which will allow your lawn to be thick, rich and healthy.
• Late Summer - This step will be customized for your lawns' particular needs. Taking into consideration seeding, stress, weeds, drought, etc.
• Late Fall - Winterize to promote root growth and food storage to help your lawns winter survival. Helps repair damage and provide excellent color.
